Feeling the Blues

I love the silk/satin top trend. It’s any easy way to dress up and outfit and make it stand out. It also has a more high end expensive look to these tops. Plus they are so soft, comfy and light weight! There are so many options for layering silk tops too. The silk top I have pictured below is from Free People. I purchased this a few years ago so it is no longer available but I will link some similar ones below! I also love a cute patterned skirt. I got the skirt in the picture below from a boutique while I was in Paris. I will link other patterned skirts I think are adorable. My royal blue tie up heels are from just fab but a cute pair of tie up heels can be found almost anywhere. They are so versatile and look great with so many outfits. The light blue cross body purse is by Kate Spade and I especially adore this purse because the color stands out. Lastly, I purchased the lace bralete from Urban Outfitters a few years ago. I think it is a great piece to have since it can be worn with so many pieces and the peekaboo lace look is so cute!

Everyday Street Style

My everyday street style always involves a pair of Lululemon leggings. I always HAVE to be comfy when I’m out during the day, especially in these colder months in Wisconsin. I also love to throw on a Define Jacket by Lululemon because it is great for layering underneath jackets (I have way too many for my own good). I always get warm when I’m out running around so it’s the perfect layer piece to wear underneath a jacket. Thus, it is perfect for taking your dog on a walk, going on a run or any exercise, walking to class if you’re in college, the mall when you’re shopping or when you’re at at the grocery store like Costco (Aka walking around for hours mainly trying their food samples). But most importantly I love to be COMFY when I am running errands whether I’m at the mall shopping, grocery shopping, doctors, bank or what not. If I’m doing a lot of walking I will be wearing my Nike RN Flyknit running shoes because they are breathable and SO COMFY. Lately, I am loving the army/camo trend. So a cute army jacket is perfect for giving your street style a stylish trendy look. And since now it’s November throwing on a cute pom-pom hat pulls your outfit together and keeps you warm. Below are details of where I got these items and where you can get similar ones like mine!

The army jacket picture above is from Forever 21, I bought it in September so it is no longer available on their website but a lot of their stuff comes back in stock! Here and Here are two other cute options they have currently have! I also love this distressed camo jacket from Akira Chicago Here.

I have the Lululemon Define jacket it red, black, white, gray/white stripped and dark gray patterned. The white one pictured above is Here along with other really cute colors and patterns! I’m loving the “Luon Frayed Camo Black White” and “Luminesce Splatter White Black” colors.

I LOVE all of Lululemon leggings, you literally cannot go wrong with any of them. But the ones pictured above are Here . They come in other really cute colors and patterns besides black as well!

The Nike shoes I bought last year so that color may not be available but here are a similar style to mine. I would also recommend searching Zappos for Nikes because they have free shipping (YAY! Who doesn’t love free shipping?) and they tend to be much cheaper and they always have discounts. Here is a pair of Nikes from Zappos that are super cute and currently 19% off!

If you can’t tell I love free shipping… so naturally I am a member of Amazon Prime. If you’re not, you should definitely look into becoming one! The black pom-pom hat I actually purchased off of amazon and for a reasonable price with free shipping here is the link to the one I have.

If you guys love what I wear, I’m always selling my clothes on my Poshmark frequently. If you like something I post… chances are it might be on my Poshmark. So here is the link to my page. If you have the app, you can add me at my handle @elsfroze

What is your favorite street style look? What do you guys love to wear running around during the day?

Cheers.

Crushed Velvet

One of my favorite trends in the winter is velvet, especially velvet dresses. Below I am wearing a gorgeous crushed velvet dress in the color royal blue from the brand NBD. If you haven’t heard of them, you must check them out. They make amazing dresses. Anyways, what I love most about this dress is the POCKETS! I actually had no idea their were pockets on this dress until it arrived in the mail. It’s extremely comfy and can be paired with so many different kinds of heels like lace up heels, sock booties or thigh-high heels… the options are endless with this gorgeous dress. 23559641_10159490674410363_4990300197985138832_n.jpg23517449_10159490674405363_4616675354326049498_n.jpg

Here is the link to this dress that I purchases from Revolve. If this price is a little too steep for you, here are some other cute and affordable options from Forever 21… hereherehere, and here.

Do you guys love the velvet trend?
